- By virtue of Austin Peay's loss at Murray State, the Eagles locked up their 13th all-time OVC regular season title and second straight after winning the regular season and tournament in the spring season. Morehead State leads all OVC teams with 18 total titles, including tournament championships.
- Grad student Olivia Lohmeier continues to climb up the record charts for kills. She is now third place in OVC history with 1,914 career kills. 2021 also marks the third time in the last four seasons she has amassed more than 400 kills in a season, and she was well on her way during the spring season too but MSU played an OVC-only schedule and 19 matches. Lohmeier is a two-time OVC Player of the Year and three-time VolleyMag.com Honorable Mention All-American.
- Morehead State's current 14-match winning streak equals its longest streak from the spring 2021 season and is the longest since winning 24 straight in 2012.
- Among the matches against league teams only, Morehead State has dominated the stats charts. MSU is the OVC leader in kills (14.0/set), digs (16.6/set), aces (1.5/set), assists (12.7/set) and opponent hitting percentage (.135).
- Freshman middle Irene Wogenstahl ranks sixth among the league players in hitting percentage at .268. In nine of the 16 OVC contest, she has managed to hit better than .300.
- Sophomore setter Bridget Bessler has nine double-doubles this season and is leading the OVC in assists per set against league teams. She averages 11.0 assists per set. Bessler now has 2,761 career assists which ranks seventh in program history.
- Junior libero Allison Whitten ranks sixth in program history with 1,711 career digs. During the 2021 season she has only not had double-digit digs three times and had a career-best 40 in a three-set match versus Murray State on Oct. 1, which was just the third-ever 40-dig match in program history.
- Since entering the starting lineup on Oct. 6 at Tennessee Tech, freshman right-side Maycie Welborn has had at least seven kills in all 12 of her next matches.
- Freshman middle McKenzee Wagener has a string of 15 consecutive matches where she has had two or more blocks. She ranks second in the OVC in total blocks with 110.
