Hello and Welcome to COVID County !
Plumas has the unique and sad distinction of having the highest per capita COVID positivity rate in California and one of the highest rates in the United States.
Ignoring science and common sense seems to be the Plumas way for some. I find it curious that the low vaccine rates in the County also mirror how people voted in the last election. COVID is very real and will remain a threat to our economy and our way of life for years to come unless people smarten up and stop buying into unproven and dangerous conspiracy theories being promulgated by the far right. Get the darn shot so we can all move on with life.
