GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – North Carolina junior Erin Matson and Syracuse redshirt freshman Pleun Lammers have been named Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Co-Offensive Players of the Week, while Boston College junior goalkeeper Jonna Kennedy was recognized as ACC Defensive Player of the Week.

Matson scored both goals as the Tar Heels won 2-0 at Wake Forest on Saturday in their first road game of the spring. She now has all four of UNC's goals in the spring season, during which the Tar Heels have back-to-back 2-0 shutouts. The ACC Offensive Player of the Week honor is the fourth of the season for the Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, native.

Lammers scored the first two goals of her career in a five-point performance in Syracuse's 3-2 win on the road at Towson. Lammers scored the game-winning goal, a deflection off Chiara Gutsche's shot, to give Syracuse a 3-2 advantage that held through the end of regulation. She scored the first goal of the game and had an assist on the second goal. Lammers, who hails from Doetinchem, Netherlands, had two goals on three shots in the victory.

Boston College’s Kennedy had 10 saves while recording two shutout wins for the Eagles, registering five apiece in a 2-0 win over New Hampshire and a 3-0 win over Vermont. The Watertown, Massachusetts, native currently leads the ACC with an average 7.43 saves per game, nearly three more per game than the next-closest keeper.
